| PRICES, RENTAL PERIODS & DISCOUNTS In high season (July/August) the minimum rental period is two weeks, unless, rarely, there happens to be a one week gap somewhere in the programme. For bookings of less than 14 days full rental price will be charged all year round. There will be a 10% surcharge and linen/laundry will be charged. Out of high season some of our villa owners offer up to 30% discount for bookings of 2 weeks or more. In the winter months (November-February) we can offer up to a 40% discount. Come and enjoy the winter sun, and you'll be surprised how inexpensive it can be. Some villa owners prefer to book Saturday to Saturday, but many are more flexible. Prices quoted are for the villa for one week during the months of July and August. TRAVEL One great advantage of the South of France is that it is readily accessible by air, car and train. If you are a large family, and you can afford to take your time, travelling down by car will be cheaper. Spending a couple of days on the journey can also be very enjoyable. If you choose to fly, then you will almost certainly need to hire a car once you arrive at the airport. If you are coming from the UK you can put your car on the overnight train and arrive in Nice the next morning after a good sleep. CAR HIRE We can arrange car hire, limousine or luxury car hire, taxis, helicopters or boat transfers where applicable. Please call our French Office for more information. STAFF Our French Office is available to organise maids, chefs or any extra staff you may require. COTS AND HIGH CHAIRS Cots and high chairs can be provided on request for approximately 30€/week and 15€/week respectively, including delivery. Please note that we do not supply cot linen. SERVICES We charge extra for electricity, gas and telephone. These are all metered and you will be billed at cost for what you use. There will also be a charge for the final clean of your villa. See also Staff. If you want a supermarket shop prior to your arrival, just let us know in advance and it can be arranged, at a small fee. In fact we can provide almost any service you require such as personal trainers, masseurs, chauffeurs etc. as long as you give us plenty of notice. LINEN In July and August, for bookings of 14 days or more, all villas are provided with two sets of linen and towels per person, free of charge. Pool towels and cot linen are not provided but these can be hired if needed. During other months of the year and for bookings of less than 14 days there will be a charge for linen and laundry. Any linen and towels missing at the end of the rental period will be your responsibility, so we do ask you to ensure they are all accounted for before your departure. ACCOMODATION We quote the maximum number of people that each villa can accommodate, and with the exception of babies in cots, this number must, on no account, be exceeded. ENTERTAINING Whilst owners are happy for you to entertain small groups of friends during your stay at the villa, should you wish to host a party or to entertain a larger group, written authorisation must be obtained from us prior to your arrival or at least 72 hours before the party is due to happen. INVENTORY DEPOSIT We take a deposit of 25% of the total rental to cover service charges, and any damage or inventory losses. The balance will be returned as soon as possible after the accounts are settled. Please note that none of our villas are purpose built holiday homes; in many cases they are the owners principal residence and are furnished and decorated accordingly. POOLS AND GENERAL Unfortunately we are not the owners of the villas in this brochure but their agents and therefore, with a few exceptions, we are not responsible for their management and maintenance. Villa descriptions are all given in good faith based on the latest information received, but occasionally some facilities or accommodation may be changed by the owner without us being informed so please let us know prior to booking of any essential requirements. Also, mainly due to climatic conditions, the chemical balance of pools can sometimes change, causing them to become cloudy or occasionally unusable. Notwithstanding the above we would emphasise that should you have any problems with the villa or pool during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact our French Office, at the earliest opportunity and they will endeavour to solve the problem. BOOKING PROCEDURE When you have made your choice of villa we will send you a contract and invoice which together with this brochure will become your contract. A deposit of one third of the total rent is payable on receipt of invoice. The balance of the rent plus the 25% inventory deposit must be paid no later than 2 months before arrival date. Soon after we receive your final payment you will be sent a route guide and a concierge booklet, which contains a questionnaire to cover the ordering of linen, maids, shopping, cars and anything else you may need, plus any late information regarding your villa and/or holiday. PURCHASE AND SALE OF PROPERTY We work extensively with reputable local French agents and if you are interested we would be delighted to introduce you. VILLA MANAGEMENT We are now offering a comprehensive service of Villa Management.
