Originally a 14th century trading post, and then a summer palace for the Grasse clergy, this lovely château was extensively rebuilt by Christian Dior, before being purchased by the current owners who completed the restoration work. The château is well furnished and comfortable as well as being centrally heated throughout, making it suitable for both summer and winter holidays. The main drawing room is beautifully panelled, has a large Louis XIV marble fireplace, grand piano, and French doors leading to a large terrace. The château stands in some 12 acres of lawns, woodlands and olive groves and is ideal for children, particularly as Lac St Cassien is close by and offers windsurfing, sailing and fishing. There are also stables nearby. This property is ideal for large family holidays or corporate entertaining. LOWER GROUND FLOOR Summer reception room and dining room with French windows to a large terrace, kitchen with pantry. One double bedroom with en-suite room.
