This is a comfortable villa set in 8 acres of secluded and peaceful woodland grounds. Mature cork oaks provide cool shade in the summer months. The pool, set among terraces of olive trees, affords spectacular views over the surrounding Forêt des Maures (a National Park) and towards the distant hills. Facing West, as the pool does, you can sunbathe or take your evening cocktail until the last rays of the setting sun vanish over the far horizon. Alternatively, the wisteria-clad terrace with ramade on the East side of the villa, provides shady seating with views to the Bay of St Tropez. Terraces surround the house, affording privacy and quiet. Meals in the summer can be taken under a covered terrace, just off the kitchen, where a table seating 14 makes for long and cool evenings. The interior of the spacious villa is comfortably furnished with French antiques which, combined with English comfort, provides a perfect place for a restful, luxurious holiday. At the same time, the bustling market town of Cogolin, a 5 minute drive away, contains excellent shopping facilities. The beaches of Pampelonne and St Tropez are some 15 kms drive, but nearer at hand, Port Grimaud and the Bay of St Tropez provide all the water entertainment and night life you could wish for.
