The villa with its 900m² living space and 4,500m² gardens is tucked away in the heart of the serene bay of Arcachon. Only the century old stone wall and its heritage gate, separate the grounds from a stroll onto the beach at low tide or a refreshing dip in the sea at high tide. Hidden on the sea shore, between pine forests and the renowned Bordeaux Vineyards of France, it’s a place where prestigious luxury meets exemplary service. This property built in 1903 is considered to be one of the best examples of Arcachon architecture with an Italian influence. The villa has been recently renovated with love, great care and attention to detail and the result is breath taking!

The rectangular minimalistic pool, with its natural filtering and regeneration ponds, rather resembles a genuine lake blending into the garden. The water is filtered and regenerated through plants, rocks, pebbles…Guests can cool-off in the infinite green waters of the pure natural spring pool, leaving their skin luxuriously smooth and silky soft, or settle down in one of the comfortable lounge chairs on the huge deck with a 180 degrees view of the garden and shore line. The pool deck offers yet another site to organise romantic candle light dinners, group dinners, seminars or photo shoots.
The Arcachon Bay is tidal by nature, the daily withdrawal of the Atlantic Ocean ensuring the release of health giving ions into the atmosphere from the depths of the sea bed and the replenishment of clean, fresh, invigorating waters. One can while away several relaxing hours on her beautiful white sandy beaches and multitude of water sports available here.

“L’eau Vive” boasts a magnificent outdoor terrace. Enjoy a glass of Champagne with splendid views of Arcachon and Cap Ferret across the Bassin, or sooth your tired muscles after an active day in the luxuriously appointed en-suite bathroom with a double shower, water jets and separate spa tub.
“La Tour” with its 360 degrees floor to ceiling windows offers breath taking sea and forest views. Relax and absorb the stunning colours of the sunset in a warm “Bath with a View”.
Appreciate “Le Bassin” with its doors opening onto a spacious arched veranda. Simply read a good book from the library, inhale the fresh sea air and listen to the crackle of a fire in your room.
In “La Verandah” guests can shower in the bright sunshine that this spacious bathroom receives in the morning. The room offers a private access door. Floor to ceiling doors opening onto the lower level arched veranda ensure direct access to the garden and beach beyond.
Living and dining rooms:
The spacious contemporary dining room with its magnificent sea and garden view is a perfect place for a romantic dinner, or to receive guests for seminars. Its floor-to-ceiling windows open up to a grand covered terrace and to the arched veranda. Indoors guests may delight in the crackle of fire in the 2-way open fire place, connecting the dining room with the kitchen area. The dining room opens up to the generous living room. Here guests can find the perfect spot to read a book, catch-up with friends or colleagues, or stroll onto the veranda and watch squirrels jump from tree branch to tree branch with the spectacular sea view as a back drop.
Library:
Taken back into time, guests can enjoy their favourite vintage from a deep leather armchair, in front of the marble fireplace in the pinewood panelled library. You can simply let your fingers glide over the expansive selection of international books before picking the one of your choice, or seal that extensively discussed business deal.
Office:
Located on the first floor, the magnificent garden and sea views are reflected in the mouth blown glass windows of the original heritage cupboards. Guests can use the office for meetings, workshop sessions, faxing, printing, and a retreat to prepare meetings, or simply take their emails. The villa has Wi-Fi throughout and every room is additionally equipped with a fixed internet access.
Home Cinema & Meeting Room:
Originally the snooker room, the Home Cinema boasts a 55 inch flat screen TV and state of the art video system. Guests can settle down in comfortable plush chairs and watch their preferred movie in the movie theatre. With the snap of a finger, the theatre can be turned into a meeting room for any kind of seminar or conference.
FINE DINING:
Guests can enjoy a journey of gastronomic discovery that sets the taste buds tingling and leaves the palate sated.
